Georg Bertram

Georg Bertram is professor of Philosophy at the Freie Universität in Berlin. He received his PhD in 1997 from the Justus–Liebig–Universität Gießen and completed his habilitation in 2004 at the Universität Hildesheim. He worked as a visiting professor at the Universität Wien, the Università degli Studi di Torino, and the Università degli Studi Roma Tre. Among his areas of specialisation are aesthetics, philosophy of language, philosophy of self–consciousness, and the philosophy of Hegel.
